LAKE FOREST/LAKE BLUFF COMMUNITY CALENDAR 19 June 2008, Thursday Concert in the Square Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm The Ragtops -- They are back and playing the great music of the 50's and early 60's just the way you remember it. You'll think you've gone back in time and for this season opener it will feel like it. Dust off your dancing shoes for the 50's dance contest. And bring out those poodle skirts, saddle shoes and slicked back hair for the best dressed 50's couple. Don't miss this season opener along with other surprises. This is the 7th year for the concerts and it is growing each year. Come out and enjoy a mini Ravinia experience in beautiful Market Square in the heart of downtown east Lake Forest. Bring your whole family to enjoy music, dance and fun. Radio icon Tommy Edwards is the weekly emcee. If you remember Uncle Larry Lujack, Little Tommy and Animal Stories on the radio, you will love to listen to him each week. There will also be a free drawing each week for a beautiful basket or gift certificate from a local merchant or sponsor. So bring your blanket and get there early to find a great spot to enjoy the evening. Food vendors will be set up prior to the concert so that you can purchase your food before or during the concerts.
